Starbucks
As some of you may know, I've worked as a manager for Starbucks for the last 4 years, I love what I do and it's a great company to work for.
So this thread is for all things Starbucks, tell us what you love and what you hate or what you want to know!
I'll be your Host
My favorite tasty beverage is an iced tall, double shot, non-fat, no-whip, 2 pump mocha.

I like the Starbucks coffee beans. I'm not a fan of all the crazy coffees and the high prices. I think I like my coffee simple. Grind the beans. Brew it. Pour in a cup. Add cream/sugar. Drink :-)

It's Coffee More specifically, it's espresso shots with chocolate (dark) and milk with ice. Just think of chocolate milk with strong coffee taste Does that help? Do you need to have a starbux experience Judge?

Overated, overpriced, folgers.
My folks got wise, spent a few grand on a Gaggia, and make their own superior brew daily.
I don't drink caffiene, so what do I know.

Have you ever looked at Folgers beans out of the bag and compared it to better quality beans? There is a difference. The cheaper Folgers beans always look old and dry.

Folgers=crap
Starbucks=quality
you pay for quality, which is what keeps billions of people coming back every day Not to mention that starbucks pays their farmers extremely well and not to mention fair trade, which is something folgers have been under fire for in the past.
And what!?!? you don't drink caffeine? No experience=no opinion!

What is Eris? A moderator or 2nd grader. Lame.
media.www.sjuhawknews.com
One of ten recent articles bashing Starbucks and how the treat their farmers.
Seattle's Best, Diedrichs, Dunkin Donuts, own more market share daily.
Great addition to your site, Dan.

I think Eris was just messing with you. To me it looks as if she's picking on you because you picked on her employer :-) Don't read anything into it. I've known Eris from way back when. Its all in good fun.

wow, what Indy said, no serious intent what-so-ever, are you telling me you can dish it but can't take it? I'm not mean spirited
But I have to admit, Starbucks owns Seattle's Best
And that link to the article was written in the "opinion" section of a college newspaper, how creditable is that? Reading the comments about the article alone says more than the actual article does.
Ohh and Mod? Uhmm sure! And a 2nd grader? Well I'm a Mom of a almost 2nd grader, so maybe!
Pssttt, I use fed-ex for all my shipping needs

I live in Seattle. I grew up with Starbucks. I love the place because they are safe to get a good cup of coffee. Also, there EVERYWHERE, which is convenient. We have places with 3 starbucks in the same parking lot.
Sometimes I can find a small stand that does better, but it's not easy. It is pricey, and the ones in the grocery stores or some of the drive-in ones aren't always as good as some of the walkin stores, but overall, it's safe.
I LOVE coffee. I either get Americanos or Lattes w/o flavor. I really don't have a sweet tooth, and really like the flavor of coffee. I bought a decent Espresso maker I like good coffee so much. I've only started putting milk in my coffee 2 years ago, and I've been drinking it since I was 12.
PS: Does anyone here like Cold brewed coffee (Tody)? It's my favorite way to brew coffee, espresso being next. One shot of Tody and one of good espresso in a latte is my favorite.

Cold coffee to me just doesn't work. If I pick up my cup and take a sip after the cup has been sitting out a while I just spit it back out and dump the cup. Too me cold coffee is gross.

The Toddy is concentrated when you make it. You can add it to hot milk or water to make a hot cup of joe.
